Low Cost Vaccination Clinic
HSDC offers a low-cost Vaccination/Wellness Clinic to help ensure the animals in Delaware County and Central Ohio are protected from diseases. Our low-cost vaccination clinics are held each Tuesday from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm at the society’s shelter. The clinic is by walk-in appointment only and operates on a first come, first serve basis. Dogs and cats need to be spay/neutered to receive services at our clinic. We are happy to help you with that at our low cost Spay/Neuter Clinic. We reserve the right to decline service to anyone who is breeding their dog.
(As a humane society, our mission is to help reduce the population of domestic animals through spay/neuter services. If you are using your animal to breed, please seek veterinary care through a full service veterinarian practice. Our vaccine/wellness clinic is designed for low income families to be able to care for their animal in the best way possible at a low cost.)
**We are a vaccine wellness clinic. We do not see owned sick or injured animals. You will need to have your pet seen at a full service veterinary clinic.**
We do offer wellness/preventative care including basic vaccinations, heartworm testing, FeLV/FIV testing, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, etc. (Please see clinic form below for a full list of services). Each new patient visit requires a wellness exam so we can assess the overall health of your pet and to ensure your pet is healthy enough to receive vaccinations. Follow up booster vaccines can be given by a technician if no new issues have arisen with the pet.
You do not need to be a Delaware County resident to utilize this service. For your convenience and to save time when you arrive for the clinic, you may fill out the Low-Cost Vaccination Clinic Form ahead of time. (You will NOT be able to pay online, so please bring payment with you on the day of your clinic visit.) Simply click on the button below to access the PDF version of our application. We also have forms at the shelter which you may fill-out when you arrive.
***Please do not send your animal with a family member/friend. We need complete information filled out the day of the clinic so that we do not have to spend time on the phone verifying records.***
