Low-Cost Spay & Neuter Clinic InformationWhat We OfferThe Humane Society of Delaware County offers a low-cost Spay & Neuter Clinic to battle pet overpopulation. We also offer many economical services and products (at the time of surgery) to keep your pet healthy. Residents from any county are welcomed!All appointments and selected optional services need to be prepaid before surgery can be scheduled. You may also decide to purchase some of the optional services at the time of surgery. The Low-Cost Spay & Neuter Clinic performs surgeries on various weekdays. Once we have received your paid application, we will contact you to schedule your appointment.Spay and Neuter PricesCat - Male $50Cat - Female $65Dog - Male (under 85 lbs) $80Dog - Male (85 lbs or over) $100Dog - Female (under 85 lbs) $95Dog - Female (85 lbs or over) $115PaymentWe accept cash, check and credit card payments. Please note: If you are purchasing your monthly Heartworm Preventative or Flea & Tick Treatment anytime other than during your vaccination clinic appointment or at the time of surgery, you will need to pay by check or cash. This is due to the high transaction fee costs we incur, and we apologize for the inconvenience. You are welcome to use your visa for all other clinic, surgery, or shelter purchases. Drop Off TimeYou will drop your pet off between 6:30 am - 7:00 am the day of surgery. Please be sure to withhold food and water the night before and the morning of surgery so your pet doesn’t become nauseous from the anesthesia. Pick Up TimeYou will pick up your pet on the same day between the hours of 5:30 pm - 6:00 pm. If you are going to be late or need to make emergency overnight boarding arrangements with us, please call 740-369-7387 (then press “0”) by 5:30 pm. There will be a $10 boarding fee for overnight stays. Going Home InstructionsWhen you pick up your pet, we will give you post-surgical care instructions. Unless special circumstances arise, your pet will not have any stitches that need removed. (We use dissolvable stitches.) Please follow your post-surgical care instructions to minimize irritation or infection. Should you have any problems, please call us to discuss.How to ScheduleTo schedule a surgery, you may fill out an online form by clicking on the button below. Applications can also be picked up at our society’s shelter or mailed or emailed to you. Or, download the PDF version and mail it in or drop it off later.Once you have submitted your form, you will be conveniently directed to PayPal. Should you not wish to make a payment at this time, simply close out the PayPal window. You will be taken away from our site, but will receive an email confirmation within a few minutes.After we receive your online application, an HSDC representative will call you in 1 - 3 business days to schedule your appointment.
